SHOT HIMSELF. -"Captain Jack" Crawford of the
Buffalo Bill Combination, while playing in "The
Red Right Hand" in Virginia City, Nev., June 29,
shot himself in the groin while drawing his revolver,
the wad inflicting a painful wound, which
bled so profusely that it was necessary to lower
the curtain. After being taken to his room, it was
found that the wound was not dangerous.
