Buffalo Bill, it is well known, was a valuable Indian scout on the Plains, as numerous testimonials from army officials show. OPERA HOUSE.

Buffalo Bill. -- It is merely necessary to say that this well-known, and perhaps, most celebrated of all Plainsmen, will appear this evening in "Life on the Border," assisted by Texas Jack and a dramatic company. Both have appeared in Columbus a numer of times, and with them and their style of business the public are familiar. "Thrice Married" will be given, with Mlle. Morlacchi, in her different parts, will speak several languages, sing a caitina from the Opera Ernani and will "trip the light fantastic toe." Mr. Burk, the agent, states that there will be no shooting in "Life on the Border," and that it is really a meritorious drama.

Opera House--Buffalo Bill Combination at the Opera House next Saturday evening, in the thrilling play "Life on the Border," and the sparkling comedy, "Thrice Married."

The Norfolk (Va.) Day Book says: "Buffalo Bill's new production of 'Life on the Border' is realistic, so ingeniously interspersed with actual characters, developed by the growing up of the great West, as to produce a living panorama of vivid features in society on the border."

Opera House.-- The well known Buffalo Bill Combination appears at the Opera House this evening. The bill for the ecening presents the following attractice programme: "Life on the Border" and "Thrice Married," introducing Buffalo Bill (Hon. W. F. Cody), Texas Jack (J. B. Omohundro), and the celebrated danseuse, actress and vocalist, M'lle Morlacchi, with an excellent dramatic company. This company has been here before, and it is needless to say attracted large audiences.

The New Orleans Bulletin speaks as follows of the pieces presented:

"The Buffalo Bill and Texas Jack combination gave the second representation of their exciting play of "Life on the Border" last evening. The paly is interesting, as it pictures scenes of actual occurencem and is enacted by men who took an active part in those scenes on the far off Western border. The members of the troupe are noticeably free from all stage rant and affectation, and pronounce their sentences with that plain bluntness characteristic of the men and the country represented. In the petite comedy of "Thrice Married," which preceded the drama, M'lle Morlacchi was seen in four distinct characters, each of which she did very well, and proved herself to be quite a linguist by speaking in the different languages of the characters represented."

Reserved seats at Seltzer & Ammel's music store.
