--Buffalo Bill brings a new troupe to town on the 25th, and a new play. His old companions, Wild Bill and Texas Jack, are no longer with him, but has a son of a famous scout, Kit Carson, to assist him in the rough border scenes which his drama presents, and there will be no lack of the usual attractions. The play is "Life on the Border," and tickets can be bought at Nichols & Allen's.

--The Springfield Republican never loses a chance to speak a good word for Buffalo Bill, who was in that city with his show, on Saturday last. This is from Monday's paper: - "Buffalo Bill was out on the plains, all summer, first as guide for two Engilshmen, and later with Gen. Custer's expedition to the Black Hills. He will leave the mimic and repair to the actual life on the border, the last of April, as he is under enangement to a large part of Englishmen, the two above referred to being of the number who will try a summer on the plains under his guidance. Mr. Cody's two professions of guide and player are very remunerative. Kit Carson, Jr., who accompanies him in the play, is not a son, but a relative of the original Kit. Texas Jack, who, it will be remembered, was with Bill, two years ago, was of the plains, last summer, but is now in peaceful seclusion in Billerica, near Boston, where his wife, Morlacchi, the peerless [?] has an estate. Wild Bill, who has also been in Mr. Cody's support has gone back to Cheyenne, where he is United States martial. "The boys" boasted that he left because he was driven away, and on his return he had to shoot two or three to re-establish things on a peace basis."
