131Amusements. The Scouts of the Plains, Buffalo Bill, Texas Jack and Wild Bill, were greeted with a full house last night and gave immense delight to the boys who are well up in dime novels. The play is devoid of literary merit, but hinges upon a succession of Indian fights. It was feared by many in the audience that the stock Indians would not hold out, and that the scouts would be obliged to "pop off" a few of the occupants of the front seats. Morlacchi tip-toed it around the stage to the great delight of the gallery and was greeted with rounds of applause. We are not good judges of scouts, but if Wild Bill is a sample, we don't blame the Indians for raising their scalps. Washburne's Great Sensation, with a tribe of genuine Warm Spring Indians, who assisted in the capture of the Modocs, is coming. Washburne gives a good entertainment, with variety enough to give spice. | 131Amusements.
