ACADEMY OF MUSIC

"The Scouts," with Buffalo Bill, Texas Jack, and Mlle. Morlacchi as the leading features, [?] hold the boards at this house and to fair audiences. Of course "Bill" is the hero of the gallery. That's about the only place in the theatre where anyone seems to feel any interest in him, and even there the curiosity for the real, live, Indian scalping, buffalo-hunting, [?] whooping drama is perceptibly decreasing. The interest of the lower portion of the house seems to centre upon the charming singer and graceful dancer, Moriscchi. She evidently reigns as much a favorite as ever, and the succeeding seasons do not seem in the least to dim the lustre of her art. The Athletic Baseball club attended this theatre on last evening, and were the objects of considerable attention.
