The "Scouts of the Plains" drew a crowd at the Opera House last night. The play is the most extreme kind of a dime novel dramatised. It draws for the same reason that a dime novel sells. Those in the audience who are not particularly fond of the pistol and scalping knife style of drama, found their enjoyment in the farce which preceded the play, Howard Paul's "Thrice Married," in which Mme. Molacchi's acting and dancing was the principal feature. The company appear again to-night.
