"Wild Bill."

The "Wild Bill" now playing here is the identical scout that has been so famous on the frontier. Those who desire to learn more of the history of "Wild Bill" would do well to consult Harpers' Magazine of February, 1867, in which the leading article is devoted to an account of Bill's remarkable adventures.

The Gazette is mistaken in saying that "Buffalo Bill" paraded Indianapolis, wearing revolvers, a scalping knife, &c. "Buffalo Bill has not been in indianapolis for several months.

Joseph H. Blake recognizes "Wild Bill" as "the genuine article." He met the great scout in Kansas, years ago, at s everal of the frontier forts.

"Buffalo Bill" and "Wild Bill," with their long, ambrosial locks streaming in the wind, attracted much attention as they circulated about town yesterday.

The Scouts of the Plains.

A very large audience greeted the scouts at the Opera House last night. The entertainment is certainly the most novel performance ever presented in this city. It abounds in startling scenes and positions, and is a rollicking, scalping, wild, combative sort of a show. The audience is kept strung usually to the highest pitch by the wild and fantastic play. It is well worth one's while to go and see this original entertainment-- this performance so out of the beaten track.
