The Scouts of the Plains.

A very large audience greeted the
scouts at the Opera House last night.
The entertainment is certainly the most
novel performance ever presented in this
city. It abounds in startling scenes and
positions, and is a rollicking, scalping,
wild, combative sort of a show. The
audience is kept strung usually to the
highest pitch by the wild and fantastic
play. It is well worth one's while to go
and see this original entertainment-- this
performance so out of the beaten track.
