that eminent disciple of the blood and
guts drama known as “Buffalo Bill.” has
met with an accident which most for a time
seriously interfere with his devotion to higher.

While playing at Philadelphia, a few
nights since, he acted a rough and tumble
night so well on the stage that he succeeded
in breaking one of his ribs. A broken rib is
probably not conducive to comfort in
case of actors more than others, but the
actor “Buffalo Bill” certainly calls for a
full complement of these important bones.
The patrons of the slung shot drama must
possess their souls in patience till such time
as the illustrious bull-whacker shall return
to the stage.
