We both are OK so far and are getting acquainted fast. Got a good little [Captain?] so far. We made several good long [hikes?] already. There wil be about six thousand men over here in a short time. Half of them are here now. Say this is some camp and we came through Camp Funston. It look like Omaha. Our [cloths?] will be [shipped?] soon. Ed says he will write soon. [?] [Threasa?], and tell her I will write her as soon as I get settled down. Ed and I bought a record a [piece?] and [sent?] them. Go out and hear them if you get a [chance?].

Well it will soon be time to hit the hay so I wil have to close. Write us often and we will write soon as we get [fused?] out

At ever town people lined up along the track to wave at us as we went by. We have sure been busy since we landed. Our [over?] coats, [rain?] coats and [cot?] were given to use [that afternoon?] We get [Ex—?] and vaccinated in the morning.

Dear Folks, Well I will try and write you a few lines this evening to let you know I am still alive and feel like a real soldier as we got our suits and outfits all fixed out today. We got a real examination today and vaxination. I came out all O.K. I don't suppose you know what M.O.T.C. stands for it means Medical oficers training I guess they are going to make doctors out of us. The camp here is certainly worth seeing a person wouldn't believe how many buildings they have put up here untill they see them we came through funston
