My dear Besssey:

Your letter is so
full of mountain [?], [?]
plants and lovely cryptogams
that I must go.

I thank you very much for
your kind invitation to join you
at Lincoln but owing to the
[?] matters [?] [?] here I cannot
start before the 6th and will see
you all at the St James in
Denver on the morning of July 9th.

I have a student's 1 1/3 fare
return ticket to Council Bluffs. From
Omaha I will get an excursion
to Denver. If I can do any
better way let me know please.

Business. I am working up
the programme of the Soc. for P[?]. of
