The willow grows here
npt more than three feet
high. I find it on level
prairie and especially where
the soil is rather damp. It
may sometimes grow taller,
but I think that it is a small
species.
The cherry sent is called,
here, "Sand Cherry", and
is found to 8" high. I have
not seen the berries. 8 [?]?
The [???]
sent is of full height
and seems to have no
choice of habitat.
The little plant
with long [Nebular cordla?]
I think is a Borage, but
could not say for a certainly.

I hope you will receive
these plants in good condition.
If you do not, and
can suggest a better [?]
of packing them please
[?] do so and I will follow
your instructions in the
future.

Did you get it? At
first sight I thought
that it was an [ichnemmon?]
but changed my mind, in
[?] [?]. I
have a specimen of those
beetles with aborted wings
(I cannot think of their family
name). He is large for his
kind. I will send them to
you soon.
