sheet what I am now up to. But by
that you cannot tell all I have been
guilty of. I have, dear Charles, (for the
sake of "old times" indulge me in the
familiarity!) written a book!! But
you can't [?] me — for have not
you done the same!

But my great wickedness [built?] in
this: I am the publisher of my
own, and of course a good deal
interested in seeing [the go off?].

We make much of student help
in our publishing business (subscription
