Thanks for documents,

and Prof. Sherman's
[?]. I enjoyed both
very much; I liked the sentiment
in both. I infer you
are living in congenial, because
cultured atmosphere;
and I envy you your good
fortune. One young man is
a noted disciplinarian, has
[?] executive power,
so that he is able to make
things run smoothly and
like clock-work; pulling
the reins of government like
a master. This makes every
body feel secure; and gives
confidence to our patrons.
Especially is the effect apparent
in the class-room; you
get about double the work
