and forage plants, — yet I hope this
will not deter them from aiding me
in the important work I have undertaken.
There is considerable material in the
way of specimens of fungi n the collections
of the Department. These I am now
mounting and arranging for ready access.
Books and needed apparatus will soon
be purchased. if you have "Extras" of
any of your special papers on mycological
subjects – how may we obtain some of
them?
Do you care to exchange named fungi
for grasses or other flowering plants?
Yours very truly
F. Lawson Scribner.
Assist. Botanist.
