The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 3:00 o'clock p.m. in the Administration Building on the city campus at Lincoln.

Regents present:

University officials present:
Messrs. Clifford M. Hardin, Chancellor
A. C. Breckenridge, Dean of Faculties
Joseph Soshnik, Assistant Corporation Secretary
Carl A. Donaldson, Business Manager

From the Chancellor's office come reports of resignations, leaves of absence requests, new appointments, adjustments in work and salary, summer session appointments, retired personnel and deceased members. Money being available for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following actions are taken.

Resignations approved

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that the following resignations be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

William D. Blue, Associate Director of Legal Aid Bureau, College of Law, effective May 31, 1959.

Geraldine Hudson, Instruction in Educational Psychology and Measurements for summer session of 1959.

Louis Kazienko, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and Measurements for summer session of 1959.

Mary R. Brashier, Technician in Agricultural Extension, effective May 31, 1959.

Patricia A. Mitchell, County Home Extension Agent, effective June 30, 1959.

Joan K. Wadlow, Assistant in Public Relations, effective August 1, 1959.

Herbert Jehle, Professor of Physics, effective September 1, 1959.

Henry B. Adams, Instructor, Medical Psychology, Department of Neurology and Psychiatry, effective January 31, 1959.

Frederick R. Hamlen, Instructor in Architecture, effective May 31, 1959.
