The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 10:00 o'clock a.m. in the board room of the Administration Building on the city campus.

Regents present:

C. E. Swanson

Regents absent:
J. G. Elliott

University officials present:
Messrs. Clifford M. Hardin, Chancellor
A. C. Breckenridge, Dean of Faculties
John K. Selleck, Corporation Secretary
Carl A. Donaldson, Business Manager
Joseph Soshnik, Comptroller

Meeting with the Board was Mr. John W. Stewart, Treasurer of the Wesley Foundation of the Methodist Church, and members of the Nebr. Game, Forestation and Parks Commission.

Minutes Approved

The minutes of the proceedings of the Board at their meeting held November 6, 1958, were approved, copy of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926.

From the Chancellor's office come reports of resignations, new appointments, adjustments in work and salary and retirement. Money being available for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following actions are taken.

Resignations Approved

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, that the following resignations be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office:

RESIGNATIONS

Rubert P. Giovacchini, Instructor in Anatomy, College of Medicine, effective September 1, 1958.

Jack K. Brotemarkle, County Agricultural Extension Agent, effective November 30, 1958.

New Appointments Approved

It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following new appointments be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office:

NEW APPOINTMENTS
Interim appointments from Chancellor's Office
Library
Mrs. Elsie Thomas, Senior Assistant Librarian, Public Service Division, with rank of Instructor, half-time, at $2200 per year effective November 3, 1958.

Adjustments in Work and Salary Approved

It was moved by Regent Welsh, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that the following adjustments in work and salary be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office:
