James E. Vance, Jr., Assistant Professor of Geography, effective September 1, 1958.

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, that the following leaves of absence be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Donald Charles Nilsson, Associate in Pediatrics, College of Medicine, leave of absence without pay from June 1 to September 1, 1958.

Donald M. Pace, Professor of Physiology, leave of absence without pay for summer months of 1958 from Department of Animal Pathology and Hygiene, Agricultural Experiment Station; to accept grant from U. S. Public Health Service.

Harland T. Hermann, Instructor in Neurology and Psychiatry, College of Medicine, extension of leave without pay to September 30, 1959.

Norman Hill, Professor of Political Science, leave of absence with part pay for the period September 1, 1958 to September 1, 1959; to accept Woods Foundation Faculty Fellowship and portion of Fulbright appointment to England.

Paul A. Landolt, Instructor in Physiology, leave of absence without pay from September 1, 1958 to January 31, 1959; to continue graduate work at the University of Nebraska.

James E. Miller, Jr., Professor and Chairman of English, leave of absence with part pay during 1958-59 academic year; to accept Fulbright appointment in Naples, Italy.

Don Jerome Nelson, Instructor in Electrical Engineering, leave of absence without pay for the period September 1, 1958 to September 1, 1959; to pursue graduate work at University of California.

David W. Olive, Assistant Professor of Electrial Engineering, leave of absence without pay for the period September 1, 1958 to September 1, 1959; to pursue graduate work at University of Wisconsin under General Electric Fellowship.

Joseph B. Burt, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, leave of absence with pay for the period September 8 to 18, 1958 to attend meeting of International Pharmaceutical Federation in Brussels, Belgium.

Ward C. Lingo, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, at $4200 per year effective May 15, 1958.

Stanley G. Tinkham, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, at $4400 per year effective June 10, 1958;

Warren Thomas Atyeo, Assistant Professor of Entomology (3/4 time) and Assistant Entomologist and Curator of Entomology (Museum 1/4 time), at $6300 per year effective July 1, 1958; in place of Larry Quate, resigned.
