Bruce Kendall, Assistant Professor of Speech and Dramatic Art, leave of absence without pay for the first semester of 1958-59; to complete work for doctorate.

It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following new appointments be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Walter W. Rowden, Assistant in Animal Husbandry at the Fort Robinson Research Station, at $5320 per year effective April 1, 1958: in place of James E. Ingalls.

College of Arts and Sciences
Robert Forster, Assistant Professor of History, at $5500 per year effective September 1, 1958; in place of Burdette C. Poland.

College of Law
Claire D. Johnson, Teaching-Research Associate in Law, at $4500 per year effective September 1, 1958 to May 31, 1959; in place of John M. Winters.

College of Medicine
Dorothy H. Hubbard, Assistant Instructor in Neurology and Psychiatry, without salary, effective July 1, 1958; salary to be paid by Board of Control.

Shirley Ann Nelson, Assistant Instructor in Neurology and Psychiatry, without salary, effective July 1, 1958; salary to be paid by Board of Control.

Ruth E. Roman, Assistant Instructor in Neurology and Psychiatry, without salary, effective July 1, 1958; salary to be paid by Board of Control.

It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that the following adjustments in work and salary be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Milo M. Gaskins from Associate County Agricultural Extension Agent in Sheridan County at $5000 per year to County Agricultural Extension Agent in Sheridan County at $4700 per year, plus county salary, effective April 1, 1958; in place of Darwin E. Hanson, resigned.

Glenn W. Nickles, $250 stipend for teaching Adult Vocational Agriculture classes at Curtis School of Agriculture, effective April 1, 1958.

College of Arts and Sciences
Herbert Jehle, Professor of Physics, summer appointment at $1666.66 for the period June 1 to August 1, 1958; account 4724-W.

Lane W. Lancaster, from Chairman and Professor of Political Science to Professor of Political Science, effective September 1, 1958.

Jasper B. Shannon, from Professor of Political Science to Chairman and Professor of Political Science, effective September 1, 1958.
