The Board of Regents of the University met on this day for a special meeting at 2:00 o'clock P. M. in the Administration Building on the city campus in Lincoln.

Minutes approved
The minutes of the p roceedings of the Board at their meeting held April 1, 1958, were approved, copy of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926.
From the Chancellor's office come reports of resignations, leave of absence requests and adjustments in work and salary. Money being available for these purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following actions are taken.
Resignations approved
It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following resignations be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.
RESIGNATIONS
Warren G. Monson, Assistant in Agronomy, effective December 31, 1957.
Margaret A. Kuhl, Extension Assistant in Home Economics, effective March 31, 1958.
Robert J. Morgan, Associate Professor of Political Science, effective April 1, 1958.
John D. Stevens, Associate in Neurology and Psychiatry, without salary , effective April 1, 1958.
Darwin E. Ransom, Assistant Extension Agriculturist, effective April 6, 1958.
Clarence E. Flick, Assistant Professor of Speech, Radio and Television, effective August 31, 1958.
It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that the following leaves of absence be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

LEAVES OF ABSENCE
Leslie Hewes, Professor and Chairman of Geography, leave of absence with part pay during first semester of 1958-59, and without pay during second semester of 1958-59; to accept Fulbright award to lecture in geography at the University of Vienna.
