P. Dwain Trenkle, Assistant Extension Editor, College of Agriculture, leave without pay for six months from Janurary 10, 1958, to enter military service.

John C. Steele, Associate Extension Engineer, leave extended to September 8, 1958, without salary; currently on staff at the University of Ankara, Turkey.

It was moved by Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following new appointments be approved.

Richard M. Walsh, Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics, at $6500 per year from December 15, 1957; in place of Arthur George; salary to be paid from 4775-W for rest of fiscal year.

Dean A. Brown, Assistant Extension Economist, at $7000 per year from January 20, 1958; salary to be paid from new Federal Resource Development Fund.

R. Douglas Horrocks, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, at $4800 per year from January 2, 1958; in place of Marlyn Low in Sarpy County.

Richard J. Gavit, Assistant Extension Forester at Norfolk, at $6200 per year from Janurary 20, 1958; 2120X and 2123X.

Joseph E. Range, Assistant Extension Forester at Grand Island, at $6200 per year from Janurary 2, 1958; 2102X and 2123X.

James D. Caldwell, Assistant in Animal Pathology, at $4500 per year from January 1, 1958; account 4772W and NC-13-1813F-408B.

Richard D. Kuburz, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent at $4000 per year from January 2, 1958; will train in Cass County.

Daniel B. Lutz, Assistant Extension Editor, at $5400 per year from February 1, 1958; in place of Mrs. Joyce Patterson.

Daniel E. Stilwell, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, at $4000 per year from January 2, 1958.

Will Borchers Nep, Clinical Assistant in Internal Medicine, without Salary from December 1, 1957.

Beverly Birch, Associate in Psychiatric Nursing, from September 17, 1957; salary to be paid by the Board of Control.

Charles Albert Hamilton, Graduate Cardiology Trainee, at $7000 per year from January 1, 1958; 4717W.

Charles T. Weatherford, Assistant Producer-Director of University Television, at $4000 per year for the period February 1 to July 31, 1958; in place of William Boyd Rooney, Jr. on leave.
