George H. Scofield, reappointment as Clinical Assistant in Psychiatric Social Work, from $50 to $75 per month from September 1, 1957 to August 31, 1958.
Donald T. Waggener, additional appointement as Associate Professor of Surgery, from October 1, 1957, without salary.
Retirement Approved
It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following retirements be approved.

Lena Foltz, Ag. Cafeteria Worker, at $98.10 single life from November 1, 1957.
Geneva F. Martin, Cafeteria Worker, at $190.57 single life from November 1, 1957.
Deaths Recorded
From the Chancellor's office comes a report of the death of two faculty members who have been on University Retirement. It was moved by Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Thompson, that these deaths be made a matter of record in these minutes and that the University retirement payrolls be adjusted. The names of the deceased and dates of death are as follows:
Rufus A. Lyman, Dean and Professor Emeritus, College of Pharmacy, October 12, 1957
Alice Hyde Hupp, Instructor Emeritus, Department of English, October 12, 1957
Motion put to vote and carried.
Authorize supplement to U.S. Civil Aeronautics Contract- VHP Airway Radio Range at North Platte Exp. Station
It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Welsh, that upon approval by University Attorneys, the president and assistant coporation secretaty be directed to sign in behalf of the Board Supplement No. 1 to Lease No. C5-ca3925 granting to the U.S. Civil Aeronautics Administration right-of-way for the installation and maintenance of overhead power lines and poles and underground cables in connection with the CAA Very High Frequency Airway Radio Range on University Property at the North Platte Experiment Station. Motion put to vote and carried.
Amend Restriction to permit Zeta Tau Alpha additional building area
It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that the president and assistant corporation secretary be directed to sign an Agreement amending a subdivision restriction in Rathbone's University Terrace. This amendment, also signed by other owners of abutting properties, permits the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority to extend their new sorority house eight feet into an area previously reserved as a courtyard.
Authorize contract with Air Force for Air ROTC Flight Training
It was moved by Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that the president and assistant corporation secretary be directed to sign a contract with the Air Force providing for payments by the Air Force in connection with the Air ROTC flight training program. The services will be provided under this contract by Lincoln Aviation Institute, Inc., as sub-contractor.
Plaque for Foundation Seed Building
It was moved by the Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, that a plaque be prepared to be available at the time of the Foundation Seed Building open house scheduled for January, 1958. The plaque will bear the following inscription:
