Meeting of the Faculty of the College of Medicine Tuesday, September 26, 1911 at 5 p.m. in the Administration Hall 204. Called to order by Dean N. H. Wolcott.
Members Present: Professors F.D. Barker, Dales, Jackson, Lyman, Stevens, Willard, Poynter, White and Dean Wolcott.
Dr. Willard nominated to care for the animal house for the current year. Motion seconded and carried.
Question raised by Dean Wolcott - what is minimum number of hours a student may register for in the College of Medicine?
Move by Dr. Walte that a Mr. Atwell of University Place, be permitted to register for not less than 9 hours. Seconded and carried.
Moved by Dr. Walte that in the case of Madge Potts the entrance requirement of 30 points and two years of college work be strictly adhered to. Seconded.
Offered by Dr. Lyman as a substitute motion that Miss Potss be permitted to remain in the Medical College. Seconded. Carried.
Moved by Dr. Willard that it be the sense of the Faclulty that no student be permitted to hold two regular appointment (laboratory) except by special action of faculty. Seconded. Carried.
In the case of Mr. C.W. Wells and Mr. A. W. Adson holding two assistantships in Anatomy and Histology and Embryology, it was moved by Dr. Lyman that the matter be left to a Committee appointedby the Dean with power to act, to be adjusted. Seconded, Carried. Committee consisted of Drs. Dales, Lyman, Waite.
