Buffalo Bill's Nephew Suffering from Rabies.

COUNCIL GROVE, Kan., Aug. 15. -J. P. Cody, a boilermaker in the Missouri Pacific shops at this piece, was bitten by a mad cat about six weeks ago. He was today taken with hydrophobia. Drs. Bradford and Harvey of this city pronounce the case a genuine case of rabies.

Mr. Cody was taken to the charity hospital at Sedalia for treatment. He is a nephew or the celebrated Buffalo Bill.

LONDON. Aug. 15.- Eight new cases of cholera and 5 deaths were reported in Malta yesterday

SIMLA. Aug. 15. - Medical returns show that 70,000 persons died from cholera in the northwest provinces during June and July.
