H.Rider Haggard's mysterious "She" has been dramatized and produced at the Tivoli Opera House in San Francisco.

John Wanamaker sailed from New York Wednesday in the steamer Sasle for a six months' sojourn in Hamburg, Germany.

Miss Alice E. Freeman has resigned the presidency of Wellesley College. It is said she is about to marry a professor of Harvard.
Mr. Blaine is largely interested in several Kennebee River ice companies and has made a good deal of money in that way. On the other hand, Mr. Sherman loses through the ice business.
