AN EXCITING PERFORMANCE. -- The Buffalo
Bill Aggregation, componed of professional actors
and actresses, scouts and Indians, gave a thrilling
and exciting performance in the Academy, of
Music last evening, before an audience that packed
the gallery and comfortably filled the lower portion
of the house. Many startling and thrilling
situations are introduced in the play, "The Prairie
Waif," and with all the shooting, war dances,
murder, etc., there is enough "blood and gore" in
the drama to give persons with weak nerves the
nightmare. Those who take delight in plays of
this sort were pleased with the performance and
the applause at times was deafening.
