Buffalo Bill and Captain Jack.
At Phillip's Opera House, on
Monday, (tomorrow night,) will be
presented the thrilling new drama,
"The Red Right HAnd," written
expressly for Wm. Cody, (Buffalo
Bill.) It is a play full of the startling
situations of border life, and
the scenes are said in the Black
Hills country. The synopsis
abounds in such sentences as these:
"Oh, horror! horror! "Pearl pursued
by Indians. "Back, back you
red fiends!" There is no doubt but
it will furnish a roaming evening for
the boys and all who delight in the
sensational school. There is a high
order of merit in the play, however,
and no coarseness, Buffalo Bill is
one of the most grateful actors in
the world. His tall figure, broad
about him and the fine classic head,
with its flowing brown hair, make
up a picture worth seeing. We bespeak
a perfect ovation to the brave
scouts of the frontier. The gallery
will need to be enlarged to accommodate
the boys who have been
saving up for days, in anticipation
of the treat.
