PETROLIA, March 3.

--Murphy's band has put in an appearance,
and already many have signed the
pledge.

--Christie & Cameron's well is flowing
twenty-five barrels, and will be tubed
Monday.

--G. H. Nesbitt will strike sand on
town lot, Queenstown, Monday. A small
well is expected.

--Ralph Bros' well, which stopped
flowing a week ago, has been tubed and
is doing sixty barrels.

--W. Dillion has made some desired
improvements in his Main street property,
making it an ornament to the
town.

--Buffalo Bill's combination played to
one of the largest audiences of the season
last night, hundreds being unable to
gain admission.
