ENTERTAINMENTS.
MAY CODY.--This new play, a border
drama, divested of some of the
unpleasant features usually introduced in
plays of that description, was presented
at the Opera House Monday and Tuesday
evenings, with a Christmas matinee,
by the Buffalo Bill Company. The
three performances were well attended,
the gallery being crowded at each performance.
Of the play itself it can only
be said that it possessed a few pleasing
qualities, which were greatly overshadowed
by improbable situations and impossible
incidents. It was fairly well
rendered, and to those who admire that
school of acting, it was a great dramatic
event.
