Buffalo Bill.

To-night the Buffalo Bill Combination composed of this celebrated border hero, the other noted adventurer of the plains "Texas Jack" and the peerless danseuse, M'lle Moriacchi, commence an engagement of three nights and a Wednesday matinee at the Opera House. The play they produce, "Life on the Border," though full of startling incidents and thrilling effects, is devoid of the rifle shooting which has so distinctly characterized the other plays of Buffalo Bill. We believe but one shot is fired in this drama and even that, we [?] would not be admitted if not immediately necessary.

We learn from the business agent, Mr. John M. Burke, that since the combination last appeared here, it has traveled through a dozen or more, States between here and Texas, and has enjoyed uninterrupted success. Buffalo Bill to a "strong card." everywhere. There will undoubtedly be crowded audiences at the Opera House for the next three nights.
