Moved seconded and carried that election of military officers be dispensed with The matter of going to Memphis was opened to discussion. Clements, Town and Ricketts were appointed to investigate the matter. Decided to have no more drill until Jan 10 - 1895. Dues increased to 25 cents per month. Article X Section I was adopted to read. No man shall continue on the rolls of this company who has one unexcused absence. Talked of giving a ball. President appointed committee of Adams, Clements, and Sedgewich

To see about it. President appointed a committee of fieve to select a uniform for the company consisting of Town, Hitcur, Parmalee, Griggs, and Chapman. Adjourned. GA Johnson Sec

Jan 10-1895, Moved and seconded the the Hop be posponed, tabled, Report of committee on Hop, read and accepted. Committee reported that a hop could be arranged very easily and with little cost on Fruday morning the 18th, Adjourned, However there was no hop! GA Johnson

Feb. 7-1895. Rifles in session, President in the chair. This meeting was called, after drill to vote in some (20) twenty new men that were recommended by Lieut. Pershing. Extra drill was called every day at 1 o'clock and prepare for a special drill on Charter Day. Adjourned. GH Johnson

March 7 -1895 Varsity Rifles in Session. President Reed in Chair. This meeting is called in which the military officers of the company. Motion to vote by rising ballot last. The following named officers were elected Captian, Chas A Elliot 1st Leunt. Fred Clements 2nd Leunt. R.S. Hiltner 1st Sergt. W. D. Reed 2nd Sergt. Jon. P. Beardsly 3rd Sergt. James S Caufield Jr. 4th Sergt. Chas C Pulis, 5th Sergt. Tim McCarthy 1 Corporals C.E. Adams Jr. 2 " Ralph Sarton 3 " Chas Schwartz 4 " E.N. Pollard 5 " Qury 6 " Cutter The committee on the Memphis Matter charged by two. Qury and Powers appointed the committee on Uniforms changed following appointed Dawn Parmalee, Sawyer, Adams and Hiltner.Moved, seconded and carried that a new committee be appointed to see about hop.

Committee appointed

Adjourned GHJohnson secy March 14 - 1895. Varsity Rifles in session Pres. Reed in the chair. Pulis moved to require one semester drill instead of one year, of students for admission, Clements moved to amend to make 6 months amendment accepted and carried. Clements moved to instruct secretary to cast ballot of company for Will Raymond and H. P. Leavitt for members of this company. Qury moved that members who are absent shall submit excuse to 1st Sergt as per regulations now existing in Corps of Cadets. Capt Elliot moved to instruct secretary to send challenge to L. L. [F.] in proper form. Clements amended to put it after May 1st 1895. Amendment carried. Committee on [Memphis] matter is dismissed Clements moved to set time for two drills a week carried. Drill days decided upon were the regular Thursday evening drill, and Saturday morning from 7 to 8 A.M.
