Constitution Article -I Section -I- This company shall be organized for the purpose of military drill and social purposes.

Section II This company shall be known as the "Varsity Rifles." Amended June 1, 1895 to "Pershing Rifles.

Section I -Article II- Candidates for member= ship shall have had at least one year's drill under the revised manual of Infantry tactics. Amended Feb 27 -96 to read six months instead of one year.

Section II Candidates for membership shall first be passed upon by the membership committee they shall be elected to member= ship of the company by ballot, ten adverse ballots being necessary to throw out Candidate's name.

Section III Twenty members shall form a quorum for the transaction of business.

Section I Article III The company shall meet for drill or transaction of business carry Thursday evening in the Armory, unless other time and place be provided for.

Article IIII The military officer of this company shall consist of a captain, a 1st and 2nd Leutenants, 5 sergeants, and a sufficient number of corporate and complete carry self of forever.

Section II A member is not entitled to the affair of Captian and 1st and 2nd Leunts. excellent as alumness or a senior of the University of Nebraska.

Section III No officer [military or business] shall hold the same officer two years in succession.

Article V - For the purpose of furthering the work and social aim of the company, if shall love a business organization.

Section II - The business officers shall consist of a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.

Section III - It shall be the duty of the president to tell such business sessions of the company of the may deem necessary and to preside over the page, performing the usual duties of such offices.

Section IIII - He shall be the duty of the secretary to keep a record of the pro-cardings; carry on the correspondents and perform such other duties are crucial with the province office.

Section V - It shall be the duty of the treasurer to attend to the financial matters of the company such as collecting duty fines, and distracting funds apron, order of the secretary signed by the president.

Article VI Section I- The election of officers [both military and business] shall take place annually, the first Thursday in October, by company in business session command [co-warned?].

Section II- Officers to this company shall be elected by ballot, and a majority of votes cast shall decide the electorn.

Article VII

Section I- The standing committees shall be the "Executive" and "membership," each consisting of three.

Section II- It shall be the duty of the Executive Committee to examine the books of the treasurer at the close of his term of offices. They shall also perform such duties or the company may direct.
