The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 10:00 o'clock A.M. in the Administration Building on the city campus at Lincoln.

Messrs. Clifford M. Hardin, Chancellor

Minutes Approved

The minutes of the proceedings of the Board at their meeting held November 2, 1957, were approved, copy of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926.

From the Chancellor's office comes reports of resignations, new appointments, ad interim to the University staff, retirement, and adjustments in work and salary for members of the several staffs, money being available for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following action is taken.

It was moved by Regent Welsh, secconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following resignations be approved:

Gerald Roy Patterson, Instructor in Medical Psychology, effective October 31, 1957
Millard Blair McGee, Instructor in Interal Medicine, effective November 1, 1957
Mrs. Joanne M. Wilson, Extension Assistant in Home Economics and County Home Extension Agent in Gage County, effective November 30, 1957.
Floyd Vance Pumphrey, Assistant Agronomist at Scotts Bluff Station, effective December 1, 1957.
Richard Frank Svoboda, Petroleum Geologist in the Conservation and Survey Division, effective December 1, 1957.
Thomas W. Dowe, Associate Professor of Animal Husbandry, December 10, 1957.
It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following leaves of absence be approved:

Mrs. Margaret Richmond, High School English Instructor and Librarian, University Extension Division, half-time, leave of absence without pay from November 1, 1957 to January 1, 1958.
