The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska met on this day for a special meeting at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Minutes Approved
The minutes of the proceedings of the Board at its meeting held October 2,1959, were approved, copies of the same having been transmitted to the several members of the Board under its order of October 1, 1926.
Resignations approved
From the Chancellor's office come reports of resignations, new appointments, adjustments in work and salary, retirement and deceased persons. MOney being available for those purposes from former apportionment by the Board, the following actions are taken.
It was moved by Regent Adkins, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the follwing resignations be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Darrell E. Anderson, General Counselor, Junior Division and Counseling Service, effective August 31, 1959
Allice Elliot, Research Associate in Physiology, effective September 1, 1959
A. E. Goedeken, Assistant Supervisor of Trade Related Correspondence Instruction, effective May 31, 1959.
Elva Harris, Assistant Instructor in Clinical Nursing, effective September 30, 1959
Joanne W. Ivanoff, Psychometrist, Junior Division and Counseling Service, effective October 1, 1959
Richard McCashland, Assistant Football Coach, effective October 1, 1959.
Laurie S. Robertson, Assistant Professor of Economics, effective August 31, 1959.
It was moved by Regent Elliot, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following new appointments be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Grace E. dearden, Instructor in Nursing Fundamentals, at $350 per month, effective September 1, 1959; in place of Maxine Cook.
Sybil S. Sawinsky, Instructor in Physical Education, Counselor and Activities Director, School of Nursing, at $400 per month effective September 1, 1959; in place of Norma Johnson
