Museum
Franklin Fenenga, Associate Curator of Anthropology, from $2250 to $2600 per year for the period July 1, 1959 to November 16, 1959; to get collections properly stored and catalogued.

W. Winfield Ray, Professor and Chairman of Botany, additional appointment as Curator of Botany-Museum, at $300 per year for the period July 1, 1959 to June 30, 1961; in place of H. Lloyd Weaver on leave.

Turkish University Program
Lawrence K. Crowe, from Associate Chief of Staff to Chief of Staff, University of Nebraska Staff, Erzurum, Turkey, and from base salary of $13,200 to base salary of $13,500 per year plus post differential.

It was moved by Regent Adkins, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that the following summer session appointments be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

Retirements Approved

It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, that the following retirements be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

RETIREMENT

Mary E. Baade, Maid at Terrace Hall, at $45.47 per year, single life, effective June 1, 1959.

Kenneth Forward, Associate Professor Emeritus of English, at $797.07 per year, joint and survivorship, effective July 1, 1959.

Etta Keane, Assistant Buyer in Purchasing at $915.29 per year, single life, effective July 1, 1959.

Carrie M. Krisl, Maid at Selleck Quadrangle, at $62.22 per year, single life, effective July 1, 1959.

Edgar F. Stalder, Custodian, Buildings and Grounds, at $144.05 per year, joint and survivorship, effective July 1, 1959.

Fred Teply, Greenhouse Foreman, Plant Pathology, at $242.43 per year, joint and survivorship, effective July 1, 1959.

William H. Wessel, Greenhouse Foreman, Horticulture, at $263.15 per year, joint and survivorship, effective June 1, 1959.

From the Chancellor's office comes a report of the death of a retired staff member. It was moved by Regent Adkins, and seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, that this death be made a matter of record in these minutes and the University payrolls adjusted accordingly. The name of the deceased and date of death is as follows:
