Leave of Absence approved

It was moved by Regent Foote, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, that the following leaves of absence be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

LEAVES OF ABSENCE

Erik C. F. Jensen, Associate Professor of Architecture, leave of absence without pay for the period June 1, 1959 to June 1, 1960.

Shirley Marsh, Assistant Extension Editor, leave of absence without pay from September 1, 1959 to June 1, 1960; to work toward Master's Degree at the University of Wisconsin.

Gertrude Millicent Savery, Assistant Professor of Elementary Education, leave of absence without pay from September 1, 1959 to June 1, 1960; to complete residence course work for doctorate at Columbia University Teachers College.

New Appointments Approved

It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried (Regent Foote not voting) that the following new appointments be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.

College of Agriculture
Leonard L. Koertner, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent in Cheyenne County, at $4500 per year effective June 8, 1959; in place of Charles L. Stonecipher, resigned.

Mary A. Seberger, County Home Extension Agent in Colfax County, at $4200 per year effective June 8, 1959; in place of Roberta F. Henderson resigned.

William B. Hatcher, Instructor in Chorus and Convocations, at $2240 per ear effective September 1, 1959; in place of Mrs. Phyllis Wells.

Administration
Richard James, Assistant in Public Relations at $5500 per year effective July 1, 1959; in place of B. H. Nicoll.

Business Administration
Francis O. Woodard, Instructor in Economics, at $5400 per year effective September 1, 1959 to August 31, 1960; in place of L. Robertson resigned.

College of Engineering and Architecture
Ronald Sims, Associate Professor of Architecture and Design Instructor, at $7500 per year effective September 1, 1959; in place of Prof. Erik Jensen on leave.

Harold Charles Sorensen, Instructor in Engineering Mechanics, at $4800 per year effective September 1, 1959.

College of Law
Robert Roy Camp, Associate Director of Legal Aid Bureau, at $125 per month effective June 8, 1959; in place of Wm. D. Blue, resigned.

Library
Elsie Thomas, Assistant Librarian, College of Agriculture, with rank of Instructor, at $2200 per year effective June 1, 1959; temporary appointment during Wayne Collings' leave of absence.

Teachers College
Royce H. Knapp, Professor of History and Principles of Education and Secondary Education, effective September 1, 1959; salary to be determined after approval of budget, in place of G. W. Rosenlof and Luvicy Hill who are retiring.

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Elliott, motion put to vote and carried, that the following adjustments in work and salary be approved as recommended by the Chancellor's office.
