Approve Chair of Actuarial Science fund request

It was moved by Regent Greenberg, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, directing the following resolution be approved.

RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED that The Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, in meeting this date, do respectfully request that The University Foundation make payment to the University Comptroller from "The Chair of Actuarial Science Fund" in the amount of $4,612.50. Such monies are to be used to supplement the budget of The College of Arts and Sciences for the development of actuarial science at The University of Nebraska for the period January 1, 1959 through June 30, 1959; salary for Robert E. Larson at $4,500.00 and employer's social security contribution of $112.50.

Membership in Graduate College Approved

It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Adkins, motion put to vote and carried, directing the recommendations of the Dean of the Graduate College, Dean John C. Weaver, be approved, wherein the following faculty members are appointed to full membership in the Graduate Faculty:
