RETIREMENT
William C. Hansen, Custodian, at $147.72 per year, single annuity, effective October 1, 1958.
Cora Schnurr, Bookkeeper in Animal Husbandry, at $221.80 per year, single annuity, effective October 1, 1958.
From Mr. W. C. Harper, Director of University Services, comes recommendations that dormitory charges for room and board in University dormitories on both Lincoln campuses be increased from $570 to $600 per academic year, to become effective September, 1959. It was stated by Mr. Harper that additional costs of operation make it necessary to request adjustment in dormitory rates to insure adequate funds for satisfactory dormitory operations and sufficient funds to meet bond requirements.

It was moved by Regent Elliott, seconded by Regent Swanson, motion put to vote and carried, directing that dormitory rates for room and board in University-operated dormitories on both the city campus and the College of Agriculture Campus, excepting only Love Memorial Cooperative Hall on the College of Agriculture Campus, be assessed at the rate of $600.00 per academic year effective September, 1959.
From the Superintendent of the Nebraska School of Agriculture, Mr. H. K. Douthit, comes a request that the dormitory rates for room and board at Curtis be increased from $540 to $750 per academic year and that these rates be effective September, 1959.

It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Greenberg, motion put to vote and carried, directing that dormitory rates for room and board at the Nebraska School of Agriculture at Curtis be at the rate of $570.00 per academic year effective September, 1959.
Bids for additional transformer at Power Plant
From the Business Manager, Mr. Carl A. Donaldson, comes information that additional transformer capacity will be required at the city campus power plant to provide for additional electric load required to service the College of Agriculture Campus and the city campus. The additional load will be purchased from Consumers Public Power District. The Purchasing Office submits the following itemization of bids received for the required transformers and recommends acceptance of the low bids:
