Waldean C. McIntire, Clinical Assistant in Ophthalmology, College of Medicine, without salary, effective November 1, 1957; no longer participating in the teaching program.
Scott Van Alstyne, resigning from Faculty Summer Research Fellowship for summer of 1958: to accept summer teaching assignment at University of Wisconsin.
Donald Monroe Love, Instructor in Anesthesiology, College of Medicine, without salary, effective Janurary 1, 1958.
Gyan Mohan, Visiting Professor of Physics, effective January 31, 1958.
Gertrude Jane Wendorff, Assistant in Agricultural Economics on a temporary basis, effective January 31, 1958.
Jack Landry, Assistant Football Coach, effective February 1, 1958.
Calvin H. Reed, Associate Professor of Elementary Education, effective February 1, 1958.
Robert A. Slabaugh, Instructor in Internal Medicine, effective December 31, 1957.
William Robert McPhee, Clinical Assistant in Pathology without salary, effective January 1, 1958.
Leaves of Absence Approved
It was moved by Regent Welsh, seconded by Regent Elliot, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following leaves of absence be approved:
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Charles Erskine Richards, Associate Professor and Director of Dispensary, College of Medicine, for the period January 1, 1958 to January 1, 1960, without salary.
Robert A. Olson, Professor of Agronomy and Agronomist, for the period February 14, 1958 to August 15, 1958, without salary; to serve as consultant on use of atomic energy in agriculture with Organization for European Cooperation.
William Boyd Rooney, Jr., Producer-Director of University Television, for the period January 30, 1958 to July 30, 1958, without slary; for military duty.
Mrs. Angeline Anderson, Assistant Professor of Home Economics, extension of leave without pay for the period February 1, 1958 to February 1, 1959.
Jack G. McBride, Director of University Television, full-time leave without salary for the period February 1 to April 15, 1958; half-time leave with half salary for the period April 15 to July 15, 1958: to serve as project director for the National Educational Television Consulting Service, Educational Television and Radio Center.
Hugo B. Ribeiro, Professor of Mathematics, leave without salary for the period February 1 to June 15, 1958: to serve as Visiting Professor at the University of California.
Ted H. Doane, Assistant Extension Animal Husbandman, leave without salary for the period February 15, 1958 to February 15, 1959; to do graduate work at Kansas State College.
