New Appointments Approved

It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, accepting reccomendation of the Chancellor's office that the following new appointments be approved.

Interim appointments from Chancellor's office

College of Agriculture
Marvin N. Sather, Assistant Extension Agriculturist and Resource Development Agent, at $6000 per year from November 4, 1957; new position.

College of Medicine
Denham Herman, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Associate in Internal Medicine, without salary from July 1, 1958.

Teachers College
Barbara Bush, part-time Instructor in Commercial Arts, at $1800 per year from October 28, 1957; new position.

Adjustments in Works and Salary Approved

It was moved by Regent Swanson, seconded by Regent Welsh, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following adjustments in work and salary be approved.

Roger Willsie, Assistant in Agricultural Economics, from $5000 to $5400 per year from November 1, 1957; account 4251-W, Resources for the Future.

John A. Burbank, Assistant County Agricultural Extension Agent, from $4000 to $4800 per year effective December 1, 1957; completed training period and appointed to Antelope County.

Marvin Beryl Rhodes, Assistant in Biochemistry, from $4400 to $5000 per year from September 1, 1957; reassignment of duties.

Gertrude Chittenden, Assistant Professor of Home Economics, from $5100 to $6000 per year effective November 1, 1957.

Conservation and Survery Division
Vincent H. Dreeszen, Associate in Groundwater Survey and Geologist-Hydrologist, from $6100 to $7000 per year effective January 1, 1958.

Library
Mrs. Alice L. Lane, from Assistant Librarian, Social Studies Division, to Senior Assistant Librarian, Catalog Department; from $4000 to $4500 per year effective July 1, 1957.

Mrs. Elsie Thomas, from Assistant Librarian, Science and Technology Division, to Senior Assistant Librarian, Science and Technology Division; from $3800 to $4400 per year effective July 1, 1957.

Denhem Harman, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Associate in Internal Medicine, additional appointment in Department of Cardiovascular Research at $12,000 per year from July 1, 1958; 4303W.

It was moved by Regent Thompson, seconded by Regent Foote, motion put to vote and carried, accepting recommendation of the Chancellor's office that the following retirement be approved:
