The following claims and found the same connect and that the secretary be authorized to issues certificates in payment Bills Reported Back & c. The finance committee reported the following claims back to the board without recommendation, and the following orders were made connecting the same, viz. Disallowed. Regent Mallalieu moved that the two bills of ED. A. Church & Co., for use of the Opera House for medical college commencement, per Drs. Paine and Mitchell, amounting to $45.00 and the bill for use of Temple Hall $12.00 and the bill of Oprera House Orchestra $20.00. All in connection with said medical college commencement, be not allowed, which motion prevailed. Bills Referred to Dean Mitchell. Also, that the bill of State Journal Co. per Dr. Paine, of $5.00, the bill of A. D. Guile for chairs, table &c., of $21.00, be not allowed by the board and that the same be referred to Dean Mitchell for examination and pay ment, which motion also prevailed. Bills Laid Over. Also, that the bills of Eclectic Medical Journal, the [dr?] student association and school work, formerly Literary Notes, be laid over until the next meeting of the boaard, which motion also prevailed.
