Chair of Physics to be created in June 1888, and Dr. Brace to be appointed.
MAY 15 1888
Regent Roberts moved that the Board now guarantee to Dr.Brace(sic) that it will at its meeting in June next,create(sic) the chair of Physics,and(sic) appoint him thereto at the full professorial salary of $2,000. per annum,which(sic) motion prevailed.
On motion the meeting was then adjourned.
