From the Acting Secretary of War to the Effect that the detail of Lieut. E. B. Dudley U.S.A., for the University of Nebraska, has been ordered and that he same would take effect July 1, 1884.
The University and Library Committee reported as follows upon the proposal of Prof. Thompson to sell certain anatomical models to the university, viz: Referred to teh Chancellor for examination, with recommendation that if models are needed in the university, we inform the executive committee, who are authorized to purchase the same.

On motion the above report of the commitee was received and adopted.
The University and Library Committee reported as follows:
Your Commitee Reports that the accounts of the Library Committee of the Faculty have been examined and found correct. Balance on hand $355.46/100.

Your Committee to whom was referred the report of the LIbrarian, submits the following:
That while we recognize the necessity fo rendering the assistance asked for in the matter of arranging boxes and pigeon holes for the newspaper and phaphlet bureau, yet in view of teh limited means at the disposal of the board, it is not advisable that such expense be incured at present.

On motion the above report of the committee was received and adopted.
The Finance Committee reported certain bills referred to tehm for expenses of Prof. Thompson and Culbertson in Attending Farming INstitutes, as referred back to the board without recommendation, and on the motion it was ordered that the same be laid over until the next meeting of the board.
