I have three months vacation in the summer-June 17th-Sept 17th and I wish to spend that time as profitably as possible, devoting my time solely to Botanical and Zoological work. Please inform me if you have a summer course at your institution., and the facilities offered students.

Dept. at Washington for the summer, but the work done there is essentially Bacteriology and as I am not prepared to make a Frank S. Billings of myself I [nefer] to get into more practical out door and laboratory work Hoping that you will understand the tenor of my letter and will give me the benefit of your experience and judgment I remain faithfully yours G.
