Dear Sir:

I send by this mail a small package containing a plant which I found in this, the [?] part of Harlew County, where I am visiting friends.

I do not know that it is even a rare special, but it is none which I have never seen before. It seems to be a kind of mushroom growth. When I found it, it seemed to not be connected to the ground but only touching it. It had no root.
