The enclosed circular explains the financial status of the Naturalist for 1892. It is now necessary to adopt further measures for securing a guarantee of $800.00 additional to the amount now raised in order to enable us to commence the volume for 1892. One measure is that which enables the American Geol. to exist, and that is, an assessment of the editors.
