My Dear Sir:
Having been out of town mostly all the time I could not send the promised specimens till now. Aristida [basiramer"] I found in your vicinity long before being named by my country man, the late Dr. Engelmann. The locality for [Jester] is the most western one known "Marsilia vestita" I collected at the Yellow Stone Park, but not in Neb. where M.uncinnata is common.

I have been collecting in Neb. in 1879 1882. 84 & 88 and like the Flora very much, though I preferred at my two last trips to spend much of my time in Colorado. Mr. [Gustavo?] spoke of printed pamphlets about the Flora of Neb. If you have any thing in that line, you would oblige me very much, even if you would borrow such lists for only a short time. I felt sorry of not finding you at the last State Fair. My botan excursion around Lincoln this season was a perfect failure.
Hoping to hear from you soon again I am
Your's Truly
J H. Wibbe.
Please, give my best respects to Mr. [ ]
