My Dear Dr Vasey

One of my students. Mr J. G. Smith has been making a particular study of the grasses, and has been studying our Bouteloua with much care. We have in the University Herbarium specimens of all the species in your list. excepting the following: Bouteloua [bremoidas] Vasey " [Jimcifolia] Vasey " [obigostachya] ? [Van Major] Vasey " [ ] Vasey. Can I purchase, borrow, beg or steal these in order that Mr. Smith may[f ] his work? I am willing to pay well for them. Also where are descriptions of the following species (or variations)

Dear Sir:

I send you my list of duplicate fungi thinking you might wish to exchange. If you have them all please hand the list to some of your students who has duplicates to exchange. They are nearly all Uredinioa as you see and were collected last summer. I had a quantity of Erisiphei that I wish to work up this winter. How can I obtain your report on those fungi. I am a student here under Prof. Burrill.
