that come from the root these spread out over the ground so that the plant is from 2 to 3 ft across. He grows from seed each year blooming in the latter part of July. Before beginning to branch preparatory to blooming the plant resembles the dandelion.

I have tried in vain to analyze it, and would be very glad if you would help me out of my trouble.

We use the plant in the place of hops in making yeast & like it much better than we do hops.
