I have yours of the 14th just relative
to relates, etc. and in reply, beg to say
that with reference to the Departments
consent to use electrolytes of certain
plates of Dr. Vasey's reprint on Agricul-
trial Grasses of the U.S.- you are at lib-
erty to obtain them of [Hon. Th. E. Benedict,
the Public Printer, who has them in
charge. They will necessitate a nominal
[illegible], concerning which you will please
communicate with Mr. Benedict.
